In the first high-level dialogue meetings in Brussels, it is expected to be determine the place of the Association of Serbian-majority municipalities is in the European Union’s dialogue plan, says professor of international relations, Seb Bytyçi. On the other hand, the opposition parties in Kosovo continue to criticize Prime Minister Albin Kurti for accepting the establishment of the Association, while they consider his conditions only as populism and for domestic politics.
Professor Seb Bytyçi for KosovaPress, expresses concern that the mediators of the dialogue may accept Serbia’s precondition for the Association to be at the center of the agreement.
According to him, the interest of Kosovo is that the discussion about the Association, within the framework of the implementation of past agreements, be the last in the EU proposal.
