This morning, some of the police officers arrested during the operation “Point 2” at the border crossing point in Vermica arrived in the Basic Court in Prishtina on Friday. PIK said that from the implementation of investigative actions by its investigators there is a grounded suspicion that the arrested in this case are involved in criminal activities of the criminal offense of ‘taking bribes’ and ‘abuse of office or official authority’.
As part of the administrative procedures, the PIK also provided the recommendation for suspension of the arrested officials. At the border crossing in Vermica, 26 police officers were arrested, of which two police sergeants and 24 police officers.
