In January 2020, a police officer was killed in an action in the village of Zhur in Prizren. The Kosovo Police Unit was conducting an anti-drug operation when an explosion occurred.
Regarding this case, the Basic Prosecution of Prizren has filed an indictment against I.B., A.G. and V.Ç., on suspicion of having committed criminal offenses, Causing general danger under Article 356 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (CCRK), unauthorized control or possession of weapons under Article 366 of the CCRK and Import, export, supply, transport, production, exchange, mediation or unauthorized sale of weapons or explosives under Article 364 of the CCRK.
