“Defender Europe 21” landed in Tirana this Sunday. This is in order for the Armed Forces to be closer to the citizens. The United States Ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim, the Prime Minister of the country, Edi Rama, and the President, Ilir Meta, were also present at the “Defender 21” military training ceremony held at “Mother Teresa” Square in Tirana.
The “Defender Europe 21” exercise was once again considered historic, where it was also emphasized that Albania is a true friend of America. The Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General, Bajram Begaj said that the military service of the Armed Forces is an obligation, but also the pride and dignity of Albania.
