The European Union Ambassador to Kosovo, Aivo Orav, visited the two political parties, the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, where the main topic of the meetings was the electoral process in Kosovo.
The political parties showed that they respect the will of citizens expressed through the vote.
According to the PDK announcement, the meeting discussed the latest political developments in the country, with a special focus on the electoral process and the importance of its conclusion in accordance with the highest democratic standards.
“For the Democratic Party of Kosovo, these elections represent an important moment for our democracy and a clear proof of the political maturity of the citizens of Kosovo. At PDK, we respect and recognize the will of citizens expressed through the vote. We hope that the country will soon have a new functional government, which will address the challenges and state priorities with responsibility and dignity,” the PDK statement reads.
The LDK also announced that its chairman Lumir Abdixhiku met with Ambassador Orav at the Central Headquarters.
