The newly elected chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku has stated that he will have a constructive approach in relation to the constitution of institutions, but due to consolidation in the party, he can not go to tomorrow’s consultative meeting with Albin Kurti and Vjosa Osmani. However, Abdixhiku proposed that this meeting take place on Friday. Regarding the new leadership of the LDK, Abdixhiku said that there will be a new organization, where there will be new people within the party.
Lumir Abdixhiku was elected today the new chairman of the LDK, after the resignation of Isa Mustafa, after 11 years of leading the party, which in the February 14 elections marked its weakest result ever.
