The British Ambassador to Kosovo, Nicholas Abbott, said that he is happy to see calls for Kosovo’s constitution to be implemented, whether the Constitutional Court decision on Deçan Monastery lands, or Article 11 (referring to the CBK decision on the ban of the use of the Serbian dinar).
However, he requested that there be communication with the affected communities.
“I am very happy to see calls for Kosovo’s constitution to be implemented, whether the Constitutional Court decision on Decan Monastery lands, or Article 11”, Abbott wrote on Facebook.
“What is needed is better communication to affected communities and the staged enforcement of measures to allow people to adjust”, he added.
Abbott’s reaction comes after the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, said during a press conference yesterday that the Constitution must either be implemented in its entirety or not implemented.
