The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has requested that the application of the last revaluation be canceled and that the bills for 2023 be calculated according to the assessments made before 2022.
Through a reaction on its official website, AAK has said that the proposal for waiving the property tax of 100 euros, besides being a fraud, is also ilegal.
“This initiative is ilegal, because the Law on Property Tax is approved by the Assembly of Kosovo and only the Assembly has the right to change or waive property tax debts”, says the reaction of AAK.

The decision of the Ministry of Finance to increase the property tax has directly affects the pockets of the citizens, at this time when the prices for each product have doubled.
In the absence of serious actions in the service of increasing socio-economic well-being, the government has decided to continue with deception through the municipal assemblies, with the proposal to waive the property tax of 100 euros.
