During this week, the works on the Deçan-Plava road, caused clashes between the central authorities in Prishtina and the local ones in Deçan. While the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, demanded to suspend the works in the protected area near the monastery of Deçan, the mayor of this municipality, Bashkim Ramosaj insisted that the works continue. After a meeting, both sides agreed to suspend work for a while. Despite this interruption, Ramosaj believes that the works on this road will start soon.
The Mayor of Deçan, Bashkim Ramosaj, told KosovaPress, that he wants to find a solution acceptable to all.
