At the Abdominal Surgery Clinic of the University Clinical Center of Kosovo, doctors performed a complex operation, where they removed a liver tumor from a patient. Hemangioma surgery, a tumor derived from blood vessels that develops in the liver, is considered one of the most challenging interventions in abdominal surgery.
As reported by UCCK, the 38 years old patient, after the intervention is in good health and is expected to be released soon home. The operation, performed by a team of trained doctors, with modern equipment, was previously performed only abroad.
