Azem Bejtë Galica, was born on December 10, 1889, and died on July 26, 1924, from wounds he received in the bloody fight of July 1924, in protection of the free zone of Drenica.
Azem Bejta was a prominent fighter for liberation and national unity, the organizer of the armed movement in Kosovo against various invaders during 1912–1924.
