8 deaths and 62 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours. This is reported by the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK). During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with RT-PCR method, as well as public and private laboratories with RAT method, were tested a total of 4,049 samples taken from HUCSK and tracking of case contacts in the field, of which 62 cases resulted positive.
The total number of positive cases is 107,065 cases out of 579,663 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 2,235. During the last 24 hours, 379 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 100,612 cases, while the number of active cases is 4,218.
