8 deaths and 345 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours in Kosovo. This was announced by the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK). During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with RT-PCR method, as well as public and private laboratories with RAT method, were tested a total of 3,208 samples taken from UCHSK and tracking of case contacts in the field, of which 345 positive cases resulted positive.
The total number of positive cases is 98,341 cases out of 478,625 people suspected of being SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 1,996. During the last 24 hours, 518 patients have been cured while the total number of cured to date is 82,582 cases, while the number of active cases is 13,763.
