During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the RT-PCR method, a total of 2,643 samples taken from HUCSK and the tracking of case contacts in the field have been tested, of which 437 cases resulted positive. Within 24 hours 5 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive. Deaths are from the municipalities: Deçan 1 case (62 years old), Obiliq 1 case (30 years old), Podujevo 1 case (76 years old), Prishtina 1 case (82 years old) and Prizren 1 case (77 years old).
The total number of positive cases is 67,906 out of 297,628 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 1,587.During the last 24 hours, 255 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 59,174 cases, while the number of active cases is 7,145.
