The Kosovo Olympic Committee (KOC) will continue its support for athletes, where this time it has selected 42 scholarship holders of “Olympic Hope 2024”.
Scholarship holders, who come from 19 Olympic sports, are up to 21 years old.
Athletes will be supported by KOC with 150 euros per month for the whole year 2024.
The selection of 40 scholarship holders was made by the sports commission, after the nominations sent by the federations, whereas two scholarship holders were added at the proposal of the Executive Board. The swimmer Hana Beiqi was added to the list, despite not being nominated by the Kosovo Swimming Federation!
During the past year, KOC had distributed 25 scholarships for young athletes. A week ago, KOC selected 10 more scholarship holders, who are supported by MCYS, according to regulation no. 03.2013 for the distribution of scholarships for Olympic and Paralympic hopes
