25.8 million euros more in tax revenues

The Tax Administration of Kosovo has announced that the collection of revenues for the period January-March 2024, captures the figures of 236.2 million euros, whereas if we compare them with the same period last year, there is an increase of 25.8 million euros or 12.2%

TAK emphasizes that they are continuing to strengthen in an excellent way in terms of increasing the collection of tax revenues, as well as in dealing with phenomena that harm the economy and fair competition in the market.

“Professionalism, the implementation of tax legislation, accountability, the growth of digital services, partnership with citizens in reporting corruption cases, are some of the factors that have influenced the increase in the trend of tax revenues and the reduction of fiscal evasion statistics. The collection of revenues for the period January – March 2024, captures the figures of 236.2 million euros, whereas if we compare them with the same period last year, we have an increase of 25.8 million euros or 12.2%. The environment in which TAK operates is complex and constantly changes, so this forces the Tax Administration to react impartially in compliance with the legislation in force. Strengthening voluntary compliance across all segments of taxpayers continues to remain a top priority, ensuring that taxpayers pay the correct amount of tax, and taking appropriate action against non-compliant taxpayers”, reads the statement.

TAK thanks all taxpayers who fulfill their tax obligations correctly and on time.
