Today marks 24 years since the fall of the Commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Ismet Jashari – Commander Kumanova.
Ismet Jashari was born in the village of Orizare in Kumanova on April 16, 1967. He was the son of Jashar Jashari and mother Nuria. He completed his primary education in his hometown, while in 1982 he enrolled in the Kumanova Gymnasium.
Ismeti was among the first to participate in the establishment of the “Vendlindja thërret” fund. This fund became the main logistics and war financing base of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
