The United States, and the entire world today commemorate the 20th anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001. The attack on the Twin Towers was carried out on September 11, 2001, by a group of 19 radical kidnappers, 15 of whom were from Saudi Arabia, two from the United Arab Emirates, one from Egypt and one from Lebanon.
Initially, one of the hijacked planes had crashed on the World Trade Center’s North Tower, in New York, creating a crevasse on the building and causing fire, and 17 minutes later, another passenger plane crashed on the South Tower of the World Trade Center.
