2 deaths and 344 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the last 24 hours in Kosovo. This was announced by the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK) in the daily report. During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the method RT-PCR, were tested a total of 2,281 samples taken from the UCHSK and tracking of case contacts in the field, of which 344 cases resulted positive.
Within 24 hours 2 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive. Cases of death are from the municipalities: Skenderaj 1 case (63 years old), Viti 1 case (85 years old). The total number of positive cases is 63,433 out of 258,636 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 1,534 deaths. During the last 24 hours, 230 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 54,891 cases, while the number of active cases is 7,008.
