19 girls were trafficked last year, most of them minors. They are forced without their will to perform the act of prostitution and begging on the street. For the most serious criminal offense of violating human rights, 238 suspects were arrested, while criminal charges were filed against 28 people. During the past year, the Directorate for Investigation of Trafficking with Human Beings with the Kosovo Police organized 90 operations, where about 70 premises were closed by the decision of the inspectors.
