17 years of statehood, Kurti: Today we honor all those who sacrificed for freedom

On the 17th anniversary of the declaration of Kosovo’s independence, at a festive meeting of the Kosovo Government, Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that “as we celebrate, we proudly remember our long journey.”

“Today we honor all those who sacrificed and were sacrificed for our freedom.”
“The freedom for which we have sacrificed requires a democracy that enables the voice of the people to be heard. Democracy requires stable institutions. Our republic today is stronger and more vital than ever before because we strengthened democratic institutions and built our institutions that are at the service of citizens. We have built a state of solidarity for citizens,” Kurti said.
