The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo has announced that during the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the RT-PCR method, a total of 1,137 samples taken from the HUCSK and the tracking of case contacts in the field were tested, of which, 491 cases resulted positive.
According to the institute, within 24 hours, 12 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from the municipalities: Prizren 3 cases (72, 69 and 64 years old), Gjilan 3 cases (69, 66 and 65 years old), Prishtina 2 cases (both of them 79 years old), Drenas 1 case (64 years old), Ferizaj 1 case (71 years old), Klina 1 case (78 years old) and Suhareka 1 case (67 years old).
