Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he is proud of his country, as he emphasized, for three years of resistance and heroism of Ukrainians.
He wrote today, February 24, marks three years since Russia began its full occupation of Ukraine.
“Three years of resistance. Three years of recognition. Three years of absolute heroism of Ukrainians. I am proud of Ukraine! I thank all those who protect and support it. All those who work for Ukraine. Eternal be the memory of all those who gave their lives for our state and people,” Zelensky wrote on X.
Ukraine has been at war since February 24, 2022 – when Russia began its aggression.
During this period, many areas of Ukraine have been destroyed and tens of thousands of soldiers and civilians have died.
