The Kosovo Parliament, with 106 votes in favor and one abstention, two years ago approved three laws that change the mandate of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) in the Kosovo Army, but without changing its name.
The adopted laws were the Draft Law on the Ministry of Defense, the Draft Law on the Kosovo Security Force and the Draft Law on service in the Kosovo Security Force. Amendments to the laws were voted on one by one. Serb MPs in the Kosovo Parliament did not attend the session, as they were against the formation of the Kosovo Army.
