The Central Election Commission, in order to announce the final results for political entities and candidates as soon as possible, has increased the counting capacities in the CRC, as well as the voting service capacities that are assessing the alleged packages of ballots from outside Kosovo. From the data presented during Wednesday, it is said that about 33% of the polling stations have been recounted or 161 out of 494 polling stations for which it was decided to be recounted by the CEC.
The reasons for the recount of these 494 polling stations are related to incorrect transfer of votes in the form of political entities in 35 polling stations, incorrect transfer of votes in the form of candidates in 6 polling stations, the candidate or candidates have more votes than the political entity in 370 polling stations and the subject has votes while the candidates do not and vice versa in 83 polling stations. The process of recounting these polling stations, according to CEC officials, is expected to be completed tomorrow.
