The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora has announced that based on the Washington Agreement of September 4, 2020, which formalizes the mutual recognition between the Republic of Kosovo and the State of Israel and the commitment of the Government of Kosovo to the Israeli Government and the US Administration, the Embassy of Kosovo in the State of Israel, based in Jerusalem, has now been officially opened.
According to the announcement, during the ceremony of establishing diplomatic relations on February 1, 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, Gabriel Ashkenazi, unveiled the plaque of the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Jerusalem.
