The Municipality of Prishtina today presented the public parking management project, which will provide solutions to the parking problem in the capital, announcing the payment methods. Mayor Shpend Ahmeti said that they are ready to start the implementation of Prishtina Parking as of tomorrow, where revenues from this project are expected to be up to five million euros, which will reduce the number of vehicles circulating in the center.
He said that for zone 1, Agim Ramadani street to the Youth Palace, parking for residents’ costs 10 euros per month or 100 euros per year. In zone two, Dardania, Sunny Hill, will cost 7 euros per month or 70 euros per year, while in zone 3 it will be 5 euros per month or 50 euros per year. Ahmeti said that there will be parking inspectors, and in case they see that the payment was not made, the police will be called for a fine of 25 euros. The other option is through telephone operators, with parking meter, as well as the purchase of tickets at certain points. According to Mayor Ahmeti, residents of the capital will have the opportunity to apply until February 28.
