The Assembly of Kosovo has started the constitutive session of the eighth legislature. The formation of the temporary commission for the verification of the quorum and mandates of the deputies, the swearing in of the deputies, the election of the Speaker and the Vice-Speakers of the Assembly, are the items on the agenda in the announcement sent to the media by the Assembly of Kosovo.
According to the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly, Article 9 point 1, the work of the constitutive meeting is led by the oldest deputy of the legislature, assisted by the youngest deputy by age. This leadership is expected to continue until the election of the President and Vice-Presidents of the Assembly. After the constitution of the Assembly, the way is opened for the formation of the new Government, which is expected to be led by Albin Kurti from the Vetevendosje Movement, as the winner of the February 14 elections.
