The head of the PDK Parliamentary Group, Abelard Tahiri, called the decision of the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) to increase the price of electricity unbearable for the citizens of Kosovo. Regarding the non-inclusion of the northern part in the new tariff block, Tahiri said that the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti has an agenda for the north to expand autonomy in that part of Kosovo.
Further, the PDK MP called EROe’s justification for not increasing the price of electricity for the northern part, political. PDK MP, Abelard Tahir said that ERO’s decision to increase electricity prices by 100% is unacceptable. Tahiri has called on the Government of Kosovo to dismiss the current board of ERO and repeal the decision to increase the price of electricity.
