At 04:54, northern Macedonia was hit by a 5.5 magnitude earthquake, according to the Richter scale. The quake’s epicenter was in the village of Leunovo in Mavrovo, 17 kilometers southwest of Gostivar. The quake had a depth of 10 km.
The tremors were also felt in some cities in Kosovo, such as Kaçanik, Ferizaj, Gjilan and Prishtina.
