The United Trade Union of Education, Science and Culture of Kosovo (SBAShK) has congratulated the students and education workers for the beginning of the second period of education in primary and secondary schools of Kosovo, but appeals to the Hoti Government and the incumbent Minister, Rame Likaj to reflect and find a solution to the request for the additional payment due to risk from Covid-19 and to sign the new Collective Education Agreement of Kosovo.
SBASHK supports the resumption of the teaching process on January 18, but recalls that if the institutions do not reflect then the Presidency and the chairman of SBASHK have the authority of the Steering Council to announce union action, not excluding the general strike in the entire education sector.
