Center for Information, Criticism and Action – QIKA, today from 10.00 in “Skenderbeu” Square organizes a symbolic action to mark the International Women’s Day. The protest action aims to highlight the time, dedication and effort that women spend on housekeeping and caring for others, as well as to oppose this unfair form of division of labor within the home.
Global data show that a large number of women have lost their jobs due to COVID-19, another part of them have been victims of domestic violence and most women have faced heavy workloads, which are seen as “women’s work”, the statement said.
