Fisnik Dukolli from the “Paragon” Institute said that in the period of the pandemic, for a year now, the quality of education has suffered, and the whole economic chain, with the closure of businesses and job losses.
He said that among the most affected sectors remains the gastronomy sector.
Florian Aliu during the presentation of the research of this Institute emphasized that the pandemic in the labor market has affected the loss of jobs 50 thousand workers, while also in this period 10 thousand businesses have been closed.
According to Ali, another 150,000 workers still have wage difficulties.
Arian Vranica from the Gastronomy Association of Kosovo, said that 64 percent is the decline in revenues in gastronomy or as he said, 20 million decline in revenues.
He said 11,000 workers have lost their jobs in gastronomy.
