Since the beginning of the pandemic, over 150 pregnant women who were affected by Covid-19 have been treated at the Gynecology Clinic at UCCK. Doctor Blerim Syla, who is part of the Gynecology Clinic, also spoke about the condition of the COVID ward in this clinic.
According to him, 5 pregnant women are currently being treated there and according to him their health condition is good. He said that as a clinic they currently have the capacity to treat pregnant women who are affected by COVID-19. Since the beginning of the pandemic about 70 women infected with Covid-19 have given birth at the Gynecology Clinic, while four pregnant women have lost their lives from this virus.
