The Clinic of Abdominal Surgery of the University Clinical Center of Kosovo, has performed the first elective surgeries, after a few months, to mark the return of the operative regulatory program, which was suspended due the aggravated situation with the COVID-19 Pandemic.
UCCK through an announcement, says that doctors intervened in patients, using modern laparoscopic equipment, that was donated to the Abdominal Surgery by the US Embassy in Pristina, the European Command of the United States of America, within the Humanitarian Assistance Program, which has donated 2 laparoscopes to UCCK. Laparoscopes belong to the latest technology and Kosovo is the only country in the Balkans that has this device.
