Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated today that by honoring people with autism, we honor diversity. The head of the executive made these comments at the event organized by the National Autism Association in Kosovo on the occasion of International Autism Day. In a press release it is announced that Kurti said that they will enable effective participation in the class, while the inclusive class will work to achieve the potential of all without distinction.
“Today, we honor diversity by honoring people with autism. We need to honor them every day with our commitment and interaction to provide the support and care they need, to improve their quality of life. To live independently, being a participant in society. To increase the sense of belonging, to live with dignity and full of opportunities”, said Kurti.
Kurti stressed that growing awareness should translate into increased action and joint work to address the many challenges. According to him, this is done starting from the awareness on the importance of diagnosis and early intervention.
