Dozens of residents in Vlora and Fier living along the Vjosa river are going through dramatic hours. Their houses are flooded as water has gone up to the second floors. Residents said they spent the night on terraces while accusing the state of negligence. Residents near the Mifol bridge in Vlora witnessed how their houses were covered with water!
Vjosa got out of bed, created an alarming situation, while in some apartments, the water covered everything, up to the roof. The State Police, since yesterday, has been on standby to come to the aid of the residents, in case of floods that can be caused as a result of bad weather, and has even intervened in some cases.
