The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo reports that during the last 24 hours, a total of 2,886 samples taken from the UCHSK and tracking of case contacts in the field have been tested, of which 488 cases resulted positive. According to the institute, within 24 hours 8 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive.
Death cases are from the municipalities: Prishtina 4 cases (81, 77, 65, 78 years old), Klina 1 case (64 years old), Peja 1 case (37 years old), Prizren 1 case (77 years old), Suhareka 1 case ( 87 years old). The total number of positive cases is 70,185 out of 313,132 persons suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, whil the total number of deaths is 1,616. During the last 24 hours, 270 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 60,333 cases, while the number of active cases is 8,236.
