Mitrovica General Hospital released a statement about the report that the dead body of the 84-year-old remained for more than 6 hours in the same room with other patients.
In response, the hospital did not deny that such a thing happened, although they say that at the time of the patient’s death, they were waiting for the result from the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo regarding the presence of infection from COVID-19 and that if the patient was infected, according to them, changes the procedures of removal of the dead body.
