Kosovo Police has identified and arrested the 28-year-old with the initials A.B, who from December 2021 to May 2022, had deceived 12 people by taking different amounts of money and promising to book appointments for work visas at the embassy of a foreign country in Kosovo.
According to the Police, the total amount that he is suspected of having benefited by deceiving the complainant is around 41,100 euros.
“The suspect was interviewed in the presence of a defense lawyer engaged ex officio and after the completion of police proceedings, he was detained for 48 hours with a ruling issued by the State Prosecutor,” said in a police statement.
