8 deaths and 453 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours. During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK with the RT-PCR method, a total of 1,470 samples taken from the HUCSK and the tracking of case contacts in the field have been tested, of which 453 cases resulted positive.
The total number of positive cases is 47,952 out of 168,211 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 1,233. During the last 24 hours, 483 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 35,439 cases, while the number of active cases is 11,280.
