During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the RT-PCR method, a total of 2,303 samples taken from the UCHSK and the tracking of case contacts in the field have been tested, of which 318 cases resulted positive. Within 24 hours, 5 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from the municipalities: Gjakova 1 case (80 years old), Kamenica 1 case (65 years old), Kacanik 1 case (72 years old), Prizren 1 case (72 years old) and Vushtrri 1 case (80 years old).
The total number of positive cases is 61,404 out of 242,999 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 1,514. During the last 24 hours, 214 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 53,231 cases, while the number of active cases is 6,659
