3 deaths and 341 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the last 24 hours in Kosovo. This was announced by the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK). During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the RT-PCR method, a total of 2,357 samples taken from the UCHSK and the tracking of case contacts in the field were tested, of which 341 cases resulted positive.
Within 24 hours 3 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from the municipalities: Peja 1 case (75 years old), Suhareka 1 case (40 years old) and Vushtrri 1 case (90 years old). The total number of positive cases is 61,086 out of 240,696 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, whule the total number of deaths is 1,509. During the last 24 hours, 207 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 53,017 cases, while the number of active cases is 6,560.
