In the early morning of November 26, 2019, a 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit the village of Thumana in Durres. This earthquake was one of the most serious events that Albania experienced from natural disasters.
This powerful earthquake killed 51 people, injured 913 others and also affected a total of 202 thousand people in some municipalities.
