President Vjosa Osmani, together with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and US Deputy Ambassador Alyson Grunder, paid homage at the “Kosova Remembers” memorial dedicated to the victims of September 11, 2001 in the USA.
President Osmani has said that they join all the American people to share the pain of over 3 thousand lives lost in a battle which once again proved to be a battle of values.
“On September 11, 2001, American citizens, the citizens of the United States of America, suffered one of the most terrible terrorist attacks in the history of mankind, but that day, they weren’t the only ones who were attacked, all who believe in the same values, in the values of freedom and democracy, were attacked”, she said, adding that since that day Kosovo has joined the American people every day, joining forces in the defense of these values and the fight against terrorism.
