The Kosovo Police Station in Zvecan was attacked with two grenades suspected to be M-75 made in Yugoslavia, and apart from material damage, there were no casualties. The incident occurred on Tuesday around midnight, while so far no arrests have been made and the motive for this incident is unknown, KosovaPress reports.

The police have also provided details about this incident.

“As a result of the explosion, material damage was caused, but no casualties were reported,” the Police statement said.

It is further stated that in relation to this case, all relevant units have arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation, and the Serious Crimes Unit has also been notified, who are working intensively to discover the perpetrators of this attack. The State Prosecutor has been notified about the case, who has instructed that the case be initiated as ‘causing general danger’.

"The Kosovo Police strongly condemns these dangerous actions and appeals to citizens to cooperate with the authorities to help identify the perpetrators of this attack. Any information that may assist the investigation can be reported to the Police numbers or through reliable reporting lines," the statement said.
