During the conference of the Universal Peace Federation, where "Peace, stability and demographic transition in the Western Balkans" is being discussed, he said that the attack of September 24 last year proved that Serbia aims to destabilize the region.
"Still the situation has not undergone any significant improvement, it is noticed that from time to time in some cases there have been disturbing deteriorations such as the attack in Banjska. Which are known worldwide to be organized by Belgrade. Recently, President Vucic reopening without any fear, giving new orders to the northern Serbs, and setting conditions. Some of them are strange, such as the return of Serbs to institutions as if they were dismissed by the Kosovo government without mentioning at all why they resigned… The situation has worsened since the September 4 ultimatum, and this happens at a time when everyone was saying that what was agreed in Brussels and Ohrid should be implemented. The impression has been created that in this unstable and dangerous situation, others are more interested in stability than the Balkans themselves", he said.
"The people, both Albanians and Serbs, deserve to live in peace and understanding with each other. Politics should help and not poison… We have a duty to do justice for everyone. This should be done if we really think for peace and understanding between the two peoples. The EU should turn its eyes even more strictly to this region (Presheva Valley) that has been left in oblivion", he said.
