The European Union's special representative for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, and Turkey's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, will visit Kosovo today.

This visit, as Lajcak himself stated last week, is aimed at preparing a meeting at the level of chief negotiators within the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.

Lajcak will not visit Belgrade after Prishtina. Last week, while participating in the security forum, Globsec, the EU special representative met with the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, in Prague.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the EU, Peter Stano, has repeated the calls to the Kosovo authorities to refrain from unilateral and uncoordinated steps, which according to the bloc could increase tensions in the north of the country.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Hakan Fidan, will also be in Kosovo today, who will meet with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla.

The meeting starts at 09:45 and the media can take pictures during the arrival of the Foreign Minister of Turkey, Fidan, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. And after the meeting, he will address the media.
