The lack of a parking lot in the school with Albanian students, and students from the Ashkali community, as well as in the one with Serbs in the village of Plemetin in Obiliq, has endangered the lives of students.

Therefore, the municipality of Obiliq, in cooperation with the USAID social contract, inaugurated today the parking lot within the project "Improving safety conditions in the schools of Plemetini", to guarantee better safety conditions for students.

The vice-mayor of the municipality of Obiliq, Ibush Mjekiqi, said that as a municipality they are committed to cooperate with all the organizations that operate in Kosovo, for a better life.

Meanwhile, the vice president of the communities in Obiliq, Slavisha Jakovlevic, has added that this project is important in terms of the security of the two school buildings.

Likewise, the chairman of the village council, Vahudin Ibrahimi, hopes that in the future they will be supported with projects that are needed by the two schools.

This USAID project cost about 24 thousand euros. /KosovaPress
