On the occasion of Israel's Independence Day, it was emphasized that the signing of the visa waiver agreement with Kosovo marks an important historical moment, symbolizing the growing relationship between the two states.

Israel's Ambassador to Pristina, Tamar Ziv, said that this agreement not only facilitates travel and strengthens personal and business ties, but also reflects the joint commitment to foster closer ties and cooperation.

In addition, Ziv emphasized that the visa waiver agreement will open doors for cooperation in various fields, including technology, education, culture and tourism.

Also, the Minister of the Interior of Israel, Moshe Arbel said that relations between Israel and Kosovo have developed impressively in the last three years, which include the development of cooperation in the fields of innovation, health, economy, culture, education and other fields. .

He added that the visa waiver will be another turning point in this special relationship and will lead to the further development of tourism relations between the two states.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Donika Gërvalla Schwarz, expressed her pride and joy that Israel and Kosovo have established diplomatic relations, for which she emphasized that it was a privilege to sign the bilateral agreement for visa-free travel between the two countries.

She emphasized that this agreement is a great achievement that marks a new era in the cooperation between Kosovo and Israel.

Meanwhile, today, during the day, the signing of the interstate agreement on the lifting of visas was made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla and the Minister of the Interior of Israel, Moshe Arbel. Thus, Israel becomes the 50th country that enables free movement for citizens of Kosovo. The agreement will start to be implemented from September 19 of this year.
